Remembrance: Roots, Rituals, and Reverence in Vodou
Available as of January 2009

This 401 page book is a tribute to Haiti's Ginen Heritage. It reviews the history and philosophy that gave rise to Vodou in Haiti.  The philosophically rich symbol, the crossroad or Kafou is explained and helps  place Vodou in the mainstream of the world's religions.  The contributions of the major African ethnic groups, including the Medes, the Nagos, and the Kongos are detailed. The book examines the major Rada and Petwo spirits and brings us face to face with these former ancestors that we respectfully call "Ginen yo".
